Geologist (Nickel)

About the role

The role involves conducting geological mapping, grade control, geological modeling, and resource evaluation. You will implement and oversee geological mapping activities, logging, sampling, and drilling operations. You will prepare accurate and timely geological technical reports and collaborate with Mining, Survey, and Engineering teams to support production targets.

About you

• Minimum bachelor qualification in Geological Engineering or Mining Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Geologist in nickel mining (mandatory).
• Proficiency in Geological Mapping, Core Logging, and Geological Database
• Skilled in ArcGIS/QGIS, Microsoft Office, Surpac, Micromine, and other geological modeling software
• Understanding of QA/QC principles, ore control, and laterite exploration
• Able to work individually and within teams
• Willing to be placed at mining site with 12:2 roster system
