Sun Silver is seeking expressions of interest from geologists interested in joining our U.S. exploration activities at the Maverick Springs Project in Nevada.

We are looking to connect with geologists across a range of experience levels and technical backgrounds, from early-career geologists through to experienced exploration professionals.

Rather than recruiting for one narrowly defined position, we are interested in individuals who can contribute across different areas of our exploration programs, with responsibilities and level of responsibility aligned to previous experience and capability.

About the Opportunities

Depending on your experience and background, activities may include:

• Geological logging and sampling of diamond drill core
• Drill program and field support
• Geological mapping and field reconnaissance
• Sampling programs and QAQC
• Core shed and sample management activities
• Geological data collection, validation and interpretation
• Supporting drill targeting and exploration planning
• Contractor and field coordination
• Site logistics and operational support
• Geological modelling and technical interpretation
• Supporting resource definition and expansion programs
• Other exploration and project activities aligned with your experience

We welcome interest from geologists with different levels of experience and encourage applications from candidates whose backgrounds may span exploration, mine geology, resource geology, field geology or related disciplines.

About You

We are interested in hearing from candidates who have:

• A degree in Geology, Geoscience or a related discipline
• Experience within mineral exploration, mining or a related geological environment
• Strong field and/or technical geological capability relevant to your level of experience
• A practical and adaptable approach to working in active exploration environments
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a technical team
• Strong attention to geological data quality, safety and field procedures
• Experience in Nevada, the Great Basin or U.S. mineral exploration is advantageous, but not essential

U.S. Work Authorisation – Essential

This opportunity is being advertised in Australia; however, the positions involve extended periods working on the ground in the United States.

Applicants must already have the legal right to work in the United States for the required periods , such as through U.S. citizenship, permanent residency or an existing visa/work authorisation that permits the proposed activities.

Sun Silver is not currently seeking applications from Australian candidates who would require the Company to obtain U.S. work authorisation or visa sponsorship before commencing the role.

Australian-based geologists who already hold appropriate U.S. work rights are encouraged to apply.

Maverick Springs is a large-scale silver-gold project located in Nevada, one of the world's leading mining jurisdictions.

The project hosts a substantial silver-equivalent Mineral Resource, with ongoing exploration focused on expanding and advancing the mineralised system through drilling, geological interpretation and technical studies.

This is an opportunity to become involved in a significant U.S. exploration project, with the scope of the role tailored to the experience and technical strengths of successful candidates.
