Geomatics Analyst (project based)

JOB SUMMARY:

• Review and analysis of the different map layers and integrates them into a unified visualization
• Thematic analysis in a variety of projects ranging from geoscientific mapping to 3D modeling of different project site
• Encoding and mapping of all identified titles/technical descriptions of approved survey plans of the Company using AutoCAD or other compatible software to generate the file in the prescribed digital format (dwg/dxf).
• Maintenance of an enterprise GIS database for use in the implementation of relevant studies and to function as GIS Data Custodian of the PMD.
• Defines, captures, and maintains metadata of GIS Datasets.
• Complies with and/or ensures compliance with the company’s data protection policies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of a Bachelor’s degree in Geodetic Engineering, Geology, Geography, Computer Science, Natural Sciences, or related field
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in GIS/IT systems or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
• Willing to be hired on a 1-year project engagement
