Structural Forensic Experts (SFE) is a premier forensic firm specialized in the investigation and analysis of construction defects and disputes, preparation of expert evaluations and litigation support in legal cases related to construction, engineering and architecture.

As structural engineering starts beneath the surface, we are seeking a geotechnical expert to complement our current staff of forensic professionals.

Currently, we are seeking Geotechnical Experts located in Florida, Georgia, and the New York metro area.

Role Description

We are looking for Part-time experts who are experienced in soil analysis as related to foundation design and failure, as well as geosynthetics/slope stability. Experience in hydrogeology would also be beneficial in assisting our civil/environmental experts in analyzing ground water flow and analysis, as related to solid waste (landfills), nutrient loading, and chemical spills.

The SFE team combines decades of experience with cutting-edge technology to assess site conditions, identify risks, and resolve disputes. As with other practice areas, successful

applicants should pride themselves on delivering reports that are thorough, reliable, and easy to understand.

Pay Structure

This is a part-time role. Contractors are paid an hourly rate, between $150/hr and $250/hr, based on their qualifications and the nature of the work required.
