Geotechnical Engineer

About the role

Core Consultants has an opportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer in our Sunshine Coast operations. Core is a SEQ employee-owned business with a diverse range of projects including land development and infrastructure, industrial and warehouse developments, medium and high-rise buildings and transport projects - across a wide range of geological conditions in both the planning/design and construction delivery phases. The role also includes opportunities for collaboration with our environmental and geophysics teams on multi-disciplinary projects.

Key responsibilities

• Geotechnical site investigations and inspections
• Geotechnical analysis and reporting
• Project management
• Delivering practical engineering advice
• Developing great client relationships
• Proposals and cost estimates

About you

• Bachelor of Engineering
• New graduate to 3 years (flexible) geotechnical experience, including SEQ geotechnical conditions
• Enjoy learning and mentoring, working in teams as a task-focused problem solver, and a mix of office and site work
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Driver's licence
