A well-established geotechnical and materials testing firm is looking for a Geotechnical Engineering Manager to lead its engineering operations and help grow the business into new sectors.

What you'll do:

• Lead a team of engineers plus field and lab technicians, overseeing day-to-day operations
• Own the P&L: budgets, staffing, utilization, invoicing and profitability
• Direct subsurface investigations, seismic/liquefaction evaluations, slope analysis and design recommendations
• Act as geotechnical engineer of record on DSA (schools) and HCAI (hospitals) projects
• Set and enforce QA/QC standards in the lab and field
• Drive business development into infrastructure, healthcare, education and commercial work
• Mentor junior staff and build strong relationships with clients, agencies, architects and contractors

What you'll bring:

• BS in Civil, Geotechnical or Geological Engineering
• GE license
• 5+ years of geotechnical or geological experience
• Strong grounding in soil and rock mechanics and commercial geotechnical software
• Clear, defensible report writing and confident client communication
