What they need
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering for major infrastructure, wastewater and/or sewerage tunnel projects.
- Strong experience in tunnelling, shafts, underground structures, ground investigation and geotechnical assessments.
- Review geotechnical investigation reports, soil/rock parameters, tunnel alignment and excavation/support requirements.
- Provide technical input on TBM tunnelling, ground stability, settlement, groundwater and temporary/permanent support systems.
- Coordinate with the Client, Consultant, Contractor and design teams on geotechnical issues and mitigation measures.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum degree qualified in civil engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent. Professionally qualified (CEng, MICE or equivalent) with at least 15 years' experience involved in engineering geological and geotechnical input for works, tunnels and shafts, on projects of a similar nature, including TBM and SEM tunnelling methods. Experience in working with at least two PPP projects of similar scope and value
