We are Hiring: General Manager – Hotel Banana Azul (TASO Group) | Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica

TASO Group is looking for a General Manager to lead operations at Hotel Banana Azul , our beach property in Puerto Viejo, Limón.

In this role, you will hold complete operational and P&L accountability—overseeing hotel operations, food & beverage, guest experience, and our on-site Supermarket. We are seeking a hands-on, strategic "host" who thrives in a vibrant lifestyle hotel setting and is eager to climb the ladder within our group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day operations across rooms, F&B, guest experience, and the on-site Supermarket.
• Drive total revenue, RevPAR, and cost controls while managing the property’s P&L.
• Deliver exceptional, personalized guest service from booking through post-stay.
• Lead, mentor, and build high-performing operational teams.
• Execute local sales, marketing, and revenue optimization strategies.

What You Bring:

• Must be based in or open to relocating to Costa Rica (Puerto Viejo, Limón).
• 100% Bilingual: Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish.
• 3+ years of leadership/management experience in boutique hotels, resorts, or lifestyle hospitality.
• Proven experience managing P&L statements, budgets, inventory, and labor costs.
• Retail or supermarket management experience is a strong plus.
• A long-term career ambition to grow professionally within TASO Group.
