Geriatric Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support seniors in a community-based PACE program.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Implementing individualized treatment plans
• Leading therapeutic activities to promote independence
• Assisting participants with daily tasks both at home and in the center
• Collaborating closely with an occupational therapist and interdisciplinary care team
• Documenting progress and outcomes
• Educating participants and caregivers on interventions
• Adapting interventions to meet changing needs

Qualifications And Skills

• Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Compassionate and respectful approach to senior care
• Ability to adapt interventions based on individual needs
