Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic German Language Trainer to deliver structured German language training to students, fresh graduates, and working professionals. The ideal candidate should be able to teach German reading, writing, listening, speaking, grammar, and professional communication, including preparation for Goethe-Zertifikat examinations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging online or classroom-based German language training sessions.
• Teach German grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
• Prepare learners for Goethe-Zertifikat A1, A2, B1, and B2 examinations, according to expertise.
• Develop lesson plans, presentations, worksheets, assignments, and practice tests.
• Conduct interactive conversations, role-plays, and practical language exercises.
• Assess learner performance and provide regular feedback.
• Help students develop German communication skills for education, employment, and professional use.
• Conduct doubt-clearing sessions and revision classes.
• Use digital learning tools and online platforms to improve learner engagement.
• Maintain attendance, assessment records, and learner progress reports.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in German language.
• Good understanding of German grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and sentence structure.
• Ability to explain German concepts clearly in English; Tamil is an advantage.
• Strong communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
• Ability to prepare structured learning materials and assessments.
• Comfortable conducting online classes through video conferencing platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Goethe-Zertifikat B2 or higher certification preferred, depending on the level taught.
• Degree, diploma, or certification in German language is an advantage.
• Previous experience teaching German to beginners and intermediate learners.
• Experience preparing students for Goethe-Zertifikat examinations.
• Knowledge of German culture and professional communication is desirable.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline preferred.
• Degree or diploma in German language is an advantage.
• Relevant German language certifications preferred.
