German Language Teacher

Role Description The German Language Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based in Satara. The teacher will plan and deliver structured German language lessons for learners at different proficiency levels, focusing on speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, assessing student progress, providing feedback, and maintaining accurate records of attendance and performance. The role involves using engaging teaching methods, integrating technology and authentic materials, and fostering a classroom environment that supports cultural awareness and effective communication. The teacher will also participate in academic activities such as curriculum enhancement, exam preparation, and occasional parent or stakeholder meetings.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Language Teaching and Teaching, with experience instructing German to diverse learner groups.
• Candidates should possess solid Lesson Planning and Education skills, including designing structured curricula and assessments aligned with learning outcomes.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Literature and German cultural contexts to enrich lessons and support advanced language learning.
• Proficiency in German (minimum B2 level or equivalent certification) and strong command of English for instruction and communication.
• Relevant degree or diploma in German language, Education, or a related field; teaching certifications are an advantage.
• Ability to create an inclusive, respectful classroom environment and adapt teaching methods to varied learning styles.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills, with a commitment to continuous professional development.
• Experience using digital tools, language-learning platforms, or multimedia resources in teaching is beneficial.
