Position: Swiss German Transcription Expert

Type: Contract

Compensation: $25 - $30/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week

Role Responsibilities

• Transcribe audio samples in Swiss German or English with exceptional accuracy.
• Follow project-specific guidelines to deliver high-quality transcripts.
• Identify and annotate linguistic nuances and contextual cues in audio data.
• Collaborate with project managers to clarify requirements.
• Review and edit transcripts to ensure linguistic precision.
• Provide feedback to improve transcription processes.

Requirements

• Native proficiency in Swiss German with comprehension of regional accents.
• Proven experience in professional-level audio transcription.
• Exceptional attention to detail for error-free transcripts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with AI training or linguistic annotation is a plus.
• Experience handling confidential audio material professionally.
