German Teacher

Company Description DFA Institute has been providing high-level German language courses since 2012, serving learners who aim to achieve advanced proficiency. The institute’s team consists of highly qualified and motivated native and native-like teachers who deliver first-class education using innovative, up-to-date teaching techniques and technical materials. DFA has expanded across Egypt in addition to its online classes, now supporting more than 4,500 students annually in multiple branches. The institute follows international exam guidelines and its certificates are accredited by leading German universities, including Goethe University Frankfurt and Berlin University. DFA also operates a dedicated examination entity, SET – Spracherwerb testen, which independently manages internal and external exams.

Role Description The German Teacher will deliver interactive and engaging German language lessons to groups and individual learners, following DFA Institute’s curriculum and exam guidelines. This part-time hybrid role is based in Alexandria, Egypt, with a combination of on-site teaching and some work-from-home activities such as lesson preparation and online classes. Daily responsibilities include planning and conducting lessons, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and supporting learners in exam preparation. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues to refine teaching materials, participate in trainings, and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports diverse student needs.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong German Teaching and Tutoring skills, with the ability to support learners at different proficiency levels.
• Candidates should possess Teaching and Education skills, including lesson planning, classroom management, and learner assessment.
• Candidates should possess Training skills, with the capacity to guide students through exam preparation and structured language programs.
• High proficiency in German (preferably C1 or above) and solid command of English or Arabic for instruction and communication.
• Relevant academic background in German language, education, linguistics, or a related field is a must
• ; teaching certifications are an advantage.
• Experience teaching German in classroom or online settings, ideally within exam-oriented or accredited programs.
• Strong communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to work with diverse learners in a hybrid work environment.
• Reliability, organizational skills, and readiness to collaborate with DFA and SET teams on curriculum and assessment standards.
• Proven Experience in Academies .
