Position: German Translator
Location: In-Person
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled German Translator to translate, edit, and review documents from German to English and vice versa. The ideal candidate will ensure linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, and high-quality translations while meeting client requirements and project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate a wide range of documents and content between German and English.
• Edit, proofread, and review translations completed by other translators.
• Ensure translations accurately convey the meaning, tone, and context of the source material.
• Maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and linguistic accuracy.
• Participate in quality assurance and linguistic review processes.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure timely delivery of assignments.
• Assist in day-to-day operational activities as required.
• Prepare and maintain translation-related documentation and records.
• Report project status and issues to the Project Manager.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Proficiency in German and English (written and verbal).
• Certification in the German language (preferred).
• Strong grammar, proofreading, and editing skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Prior experience in translation, localization, or language services is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• German language certification (B1/B2/C1/C2 level preferred).
• Experience with translation tools and software.
• Knowledge of linguistic quality assurance processes.
