GHS Lab Technical Advisor

For our client, we are seeking a GHS Lab Technical Advisor to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space.

This role will provide technical and programmatic guidance that strengthens laboratory systems and supports global health security priorities. The advisor will work across multisectoral laboratory components of health programming, helping shape initiatives that improve preparedness and response capabilities. This position also involves collaboration with stakeholders to build effective program design, training resources, and performance measurement approaches.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $142,000 – $183,500 annually

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and programmatic support for laboratory systems strengthening
• Design programs to enhance global health security priorities
• Advise on multisectoral laboratory components of health programming
• Contribute to monitoring and evaluation of program instruments and metrics
• Develop and disseminate training materials supporting outbreak response frameworks

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Public Health, Biomedical Sciences, Human or Animal Medicine, or a related field
• 8+ years of progressive experience in multisectoral laboratory systems support
• Advanced expertise in laboratory capacity-strengthening program design and implementation
• Hands-on laboratory experience with human and zoonotic pathogens
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
