International Quality & Process Optimization Engineer

About the Role

This role is built for a "technically curious" engineer who loves getting their hands dirty on the factory floor just as much as they enjoy engaging with international clients. Working alongside established, highly capable quality and production teams, this position bridges the gap between deep-dive quality optimization and global compliance.

You will act as the English-speaking authority on quality and sustainability, ensuring that our factory standards which are also in compliance with BRC, RA, and ISO22000 are not just met, but continuously enhanced to exceed customer expectations.

Core Responsibilities

• Machinery & Process Optimization: Relentlessly investigate the details of each process, running tests, and tweaking production parameters to maximize output and perfect product quality.
• International Quality Liaison: Serve as the primary, fluent English-speaking point of contact for all international customer inquiries related to quality systems, audits, and sustainability requirements. Good presentation skills required.
• System Structuring & Enhancement: Master the facility's existing quality systems, identifying bottlenecks and proposing structural enhancements to handle diverse, customer-specific quality programs efficiently. Being proactive in optimization and systems required.
• Business-Driven Compliance: Translate complex, overarching international certifications into actionable, business-oriented strategies that align with both production realities and client demands.
• Collaborative Problem Solving: Work closely with the local quality and production teams to address floor-level challenges, actively solving problems while coaching and convincing stakeholders on the "why" behind international standards.

The Ideal Candidate

• Technical Tinkerer: Possesses an engineering background, preferably within food engineering, with an insatiable drive to understand how things work. You are not afraid to pull apart a machine's parameters to find a better way to operate it.
• Fluent & Persuasive Communicator: Commands excellent professional English. You are socially adept, finding joy in understanding client needs, solving their problems, and confidently presenting our capabilities.
• Systems Thinker: Highly structured and analytical, with the ability to map out complex quality and sustainability requirements and integrate them smoothly into daily factory operations.
• Commercial Acumen: Understands that quality is a business driver, not just a compliance checklist. You view sustainability and quality control through the lens of customer satisfaction and international market growth.
• Team Player: Respects the deep operational knowledge of the existing quality team and acts as an empowering partner who brings structural and linguistic capabilities to the table.
