Gift Basket Assembler

My Baskets is the in top 400 growing companies in Canada 3 last years (by Globe and Mail). Based in Vaughan, Ontario.

This is temporaly, seasonal job 40 hours per week + overtime (we are paing 50% more overtime for some weekends in November and December).

We are looking for someone who is:

Energetic, creative, detail oriented, eager to grow, loves working with their hands, technology enabled and can work well under pressure.

The Gift Basket Assembler position requires standing on your feet for long hours and to be in good physical condition. At times it is required to work quickly and accurately and to work together as a team and at other times solo.

Task Description

Gift basket assembly requires products to be made quickly from a prototype or picture. This includes:

• Preparing baskets for assembly by filling containers

• Add the products to the baskets

• Ensure consistency of baskets assembled and all items properly positioned

• Move the basket to shipping department

• Some light lifting required, up to 30 lbs

• Must meet production targets set by management

Requirements:

-Good motor skills

• You have to stand on your feet for long hours at a time

• Good oral communication skills

• Attention to detail

• Must be a Canadian Permanent Resident or Citizen (or possess a working visa).

• Working in compliance with the responsibilities as outlined in the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act and Industrial Regulations and with the company’s safe practices and procedures.

Starting $19.00/hour
