Required Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification – Required
• Strong understanding of GIS concepts, spatial data models, and geodatabases
• Experience with ESRI ArcGIS (Enterprise, Pro, Online) or similar platforms
• Proven experience managing budgets, schedules, and cross-functional teams

Job Responsibility

• Lead end-to-end GIS project lifecycle using PMI best practices (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure)
• Develop project charters, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and communication plans
• Manage scope, timelines, cost, quality, and stakeholder expectations
• Track project performance using KPIs and prepare status reports for leadership
• Oversee design, development, and deployment of GIS solutions (ArcGIS, web GIS, spatial databases)
• Coordinate spatial data collection, analysis, migration, and integration
• Ensure data quality, metadata standards, and compliance with organizational GIS policies
• Collaborate with GIS analysts, developers, data engineers, and IT teams
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
• Mentor project team members and promote best practices
• Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and regulatory standards
• Support procurement processes, RFPs, and contract management
