GIS Software Engineer

📍 This role is hybrid , with 3 days per week on-site in Bucharest. Travel to France may also be required, depending on project requirements.

• You have a background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, combined with experience in software development or relevant technical projects.
• You have strong experience with Python and GIS technologies, particularly QGIS.
• You’re comfortable working across Windows and Linux environments and supporting GIS applications and platforms.
• You enjoy solving technical problems, analyzing complex issues, and taking ownership of your work.
• You’re adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable working in an Agile environment.
• You’re committed to delivering high-quality technical solutions and continuously improving your skills.

• You’ll contribute to the development, integration, validation, and maintenance of GIS software solutions.
• You’ll work with development, integration, and system engineering teams throughout the software lifecycle.
• You’ll contribute to the improvement of development environments, CI/CD practices, and GIS deployments.
• You’ll provide technical support to users and help ensure the reliability and quality of GIS solutions.

📌 Your mission

• Design and develop GIS software solutions
• Participate in software validation, testing, and global integration
• Analyze and resolve software anomalies
• Maintain previous software versions throughout the product lifecycle
• Provide L1/L2/L3 support for GIS-related topics
• Maintain and improve the development environment
• Contribute to Continuous Integration and DevOps practices
• Contribute to software architecture and the integration of existing components
• Support GIS software deployments, configurations, and customizations
• Collaborate with other product teams within a scaled Agile environment
• Contribute to high-quality technical solutions and continuous improvement
