GIS Substation Design Engineer - Factory Interface

A Snapshot of Your Day Lead end-to-end execution of 220 kV GIS/AIS substation projects, ensuring safe, profitable and on-time delivery in compliance with customer, contractual, quality and EHS requirements.

How You'll Make An Impact

• You’ll be handling Factory & Procurement related engineering activities.
• You’ll be preparing 3D Model of GIS substation using A-CAD based PLM tool (Primtech)
• You’ll be preparing Bill of Material using SPIRIDON
• You’ll be preparing Project specific Manufacturing & Site drawings
• You’ll be providing technical Support to Procurement & Manufacturing related queries
• You’ll be working for multiple projects / substations in India and abroad.
• You’ll be working for High Voltage Manufacturing Hub.

What You Bring

• You are an Electrical Engineer (Diploma with 5-6 years of work experience / Graduate with 2-3 years of work experience)
• You have hands-on experience in Factory Interface design engineering for Gas Insulated Substation
• You are proficient with Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD 2D/3D tools.
• You've sound technical knowledge of international and Indian standards.
• You've hands on design experience for at least 4-5 GIS projects.

About The Team Our product portfolio includes AIS (upto 800 kV), GIS (upto 420 kV), Power Transformers (upto 765 kV, 500 MVA), Reactors (upto 765 kV), Traction Transformers (upto 33 kV, 10 MVA). We provide EPC for high and extra high voltage projects pertinent to AIS/GIS, Flexible Alternating Current Transmission System (FACTS) devices and High Voltage Direct Current Voltage Source Converter (HVDC VSC) technology. Further, we off er an extensive range of services for the complete lifecycle of the High Voltage /Extra High Voltage asset and projects including bay extension, substation modernisation, product retrofitting and overhauling, emergency services, breakdown services, Long Term Service Agreements (LTSAs), maintenance contracts, O&M contracts and spares.
