GitOps DevOps Engineer

Nordic Investin is recruiting a GitOps DevOps Engineer on behalf of one of our partner companies. You want architecture, delivery and production behaviour to agree, and you turn difficult constraints into systems that teams can operate and improve.

The partner is strengthening its capability in declarative delivery workflows for cloud-native products. You will take responsibility for work that connects Argo CD, GitHub Actions and Kubernetes, while ensuring that Helm and Terraform receive appropriate discipline. The objective is progress that colleagues can use and leaders can evaluate.

The environment suits someone who tests assumptions early, documents trade-offs and treats operability as part of the design.

How you will work

The work combines planned platform development with investigation of real production behaviour. You will collaborate with application teams, security and operations, using their feedback to decide what should become a shared service, an automated control or clear documentation. Ownership continues after the first release.

This role calls for solid delivery experience and the appetite to take broader ownership. You will be expected to recognise when a decision needs wider expertise, make trade-offs visible and move work forward without creating unnecessary process.

What you will do

• Own the practical direction for declarative delivery workflows for cloud-native products.
• Translate goals and constraints into a clear approach for Argo CD and GitHub Actions.
• Establish useful standards, routines or artefacts around Kubernetes.
• Coordinate stakeholders and dependencies affecting Helm.
• Use evidence and measurable outcomes to improve Terraform.
• Strengthen knowledge sharing, decision quality and sustainable ownership across the team.

What you will bring

• Relevant experience delivering declarative delivery workflows for cloud-native products in a demanding environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Argo CD and GitHub Actions.
• Practical experience applying Kubernetes and Helm.
• Ability to assess risk, priorities and trade-offs involving Terraform.
• Evidence of clear stakeholder communication and dependable end-to-end ownership.
• Professional English and the judgement to work with sensitive or business-critical information.

Experience that would add value

• Experience from multi-team product environments or platform organisations.
• Exposure to supply-chain security in a cross-functional environment.
• Swedish language skills or experience working across Nordic organisations.
