GL Accountant

Position: GL Accountant
Work Setup: Onsite

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries for daily transactions, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, including cash, assets, liabilities, and revenue, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes by ensuring all entries are properly recorded and accounts are reconciled.
• Prepare financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits, ensuring accuracy and transparency in financial records.
• Calculate and prepare local tax filings, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and timely submission.

Requirements

Non-Negotiable:

• 5-7yrs GL Accountant experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook)
• Experience in Quickbooks, SAP, MRI or other accounting software

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ideally experience in insurance, healthcare, senior care, or real estate industries.
• Working knowledge of YARDI
