GL Accountant

Trident Consulting is currently seeking a ”GL Accountant" for one of our clients in "Irvine, CA(Onsite)" . A global leader in business and technology services.

Role: GL Accountant

Location: Irvine, CA(Onsite)

Type: W2 Contract

Required Skills:

• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a general ledger accounting role.
• Recent, hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud i s required.
• Public accounting experience is required.
• Experience in life sciences, biotechnology, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals is required.
• Strong experience supporting month-end close activities, including accruals and journal entry processing.
• Hands-on experience preparing prepaid expense and amortization schedules.
• Experience performing bank reconciliations and balance sheet/general ledger account reconciliations.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and US GAAP.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to analyze financial data, investigate discrepancies, and resolve accounting issues.
