Job Description Accountant (General

Ledger)

Position: Accountant General Ledger

Experience: 3+ Years

Location: Chennai

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare & review Journal Entries (JEs)
• Perform Account Reconciliations & GL Analysis
• Manage Month-end Close & Ledger Finalization
• Prepare Reports / Rollforward Schedules
• Support Consolidation & Management / SEC Reporting
• Handle Accruals & Amortization
• Process Recurring Entries & Reclassifications

Tools & Systems:

• SAP, Yardi, Advanced Excel
• Concur & Payroll systems (preferred)

Additional Skills (Good to Have):

• Payroll Accounting & Liability Handling
• Accruals (IT, Marketing, Unapproved Invoices)
• Cost Center Reclassifications (CapEx / OpEx)
• Payroll Reclasses (Pre-acquisition & Third Party)
• Corporate & Refund-related JEs
• Concur experience

Candidate Profile:

• Strong accounting fundamentals & GL knowledge
• Experience in month-end close & reconciliation processes
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail
