About the role

Manage and take responsibility for GL and AR accounting work accurately and completely, from recording transactions through reconciliation and monthly account closure.

Key responsibilities

• Record general accounting entries, accounting adjustments, and entries related to revenue and expenses in the accounting system
• Prepare, verify, and reconcile General Ledger accounts, including preparing supporting account details
• Manage AR accounting from invoice preparation, billing documents, tax invoices, and receipts
• Record AR entries and revenue, verify payment balances, and track outstanding AR balances
• Prepare AR Aging Reports and coordinate follow-up on customer payments
• Verify and reconcile bank accounts, AR accounts, and related accounts for accuracy and consistency
• Prepare monthly account closure entries, including verification of balances and accounting adjustments
• Prepare data and documents for financial statement preparation, including documents for auditors
• Verify accuracy of accounting and tax-related documents, and maintain systematic document storage
• Coordinate with relevant departments to gather information and resolve accounting issues
• Take responsibility for assigned work independently, plan and monitor work completion according to schedule without requiring close supervision
