About Us

Glasshape is a leading manufacturer of bent, toughened and laminated glass, supplying unique glass solutions to customers in New Zealand and around the world. We pride ourselves on quality, craftsmanship, innovation, and having a great team of people who are committed to doing the job right.

Based in Warkworth, this role is not easily accessible by public transport, so reliable personal transport is essential.

The Role

We're currently looking for a dedicated and reliable Glass Processor / Production Worker to join our team on a 9-month fixed-term maternity cover contract.

This is a hands-on, factory-based role working with large, heavy sheets of glass in a manufacturing environment. You will be on your feet for most of the day and working as part of a team to safely process and prepare glass to meet customer requirements.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:30pm (45 hours per week)

Previous manufacturing or production experience would be ideal, however full training will be provided for the right person. We're more interested in finding someone who is reliable, willing to learn, and prepared to contribute every day.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has a strong work ethic and takes pride in doing a good job
  • Is dependable and turns up ready to work every day
  • Can start as soon as possible
  • Enjoys working as part of a team
  • Is comfortable performing physically demanding work and following safe manual handling procedures
  • Has good communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Has a high level of attention to detail

Key Responsibilities

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Processing and handling glass products safely and efficiently
  • Cleaning glass and carrying out quality checks to ensure products are free from dirt, damage, and defects
  • Reading and interpreting design drawings to ensure products are manufactured correctly
  • Following manufacturing processes and quality standards
  • Working collaboratively with team members to meet production targets
  • Maintaining a safe and organised work area

To Apply

To be considered for this role, you must already be in New Zealand and hold a valid visa that allows you to work in New Zealand. Unfortunately, overseas applications will not be considered.

If you're reliable, hardworking, and looking to join a supportive team where you can hit the ground running, we'd love to hear from you.
