Glass Processor / Office Administration

Tudor Glass Essex Ltd has been established for 22 years and has built a strong reputation for supplying glass to trade window companies in Essex and the surrounding area.

We are now looking for someone to join our small office team.

We will teach you to process customer orders, but the skills we need you to possess are:-

• You must be confident and happy to talk to customers face to face and over the telephone, and it is essential that you are used to answering the phone and making calls to customers. A significant part of this job is being able to establish a good rapport with repeat and regular customers, and build a good day to day working relationship with them
• You will possess good, accurate keyboard skills as you will be inputting glass orders from customers information. This is a large part of the job role
• Other duties will be emailing customers with quotations, order acknowledgements and updates on existing jobs and confirming delivery dates
• General office administration including learning how to batch jobs ready for manufacture

You do not need to have experience of working for a glass/sealed unit manufacturer, but we do need a reliable, team player with a confident can-do attitude and someone who is willing to learn.

This is a full-time permanent position and is solely office based in Roxwell, Essex.

Hours are Monday – Friday 8.30 am – 4.30pm

Due to our rural location in Roxwell, it is absolutely essential that you hold a full Driving Licence. Note: There is no public transport that serves our location adequately and Tudor Glass is accessed via a 1mile private road, so it is essential that you can drive to work.
