Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Glazier/Driver to join our long established company and dynamic team. This versatile role combines expert glazing skills with reliable driving capabilities to ensure the timely delivery of materials and the seamless installation of glass and related products. Duties

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport glass, glazing materials, and supplies to customers.
• Install, replace, and repair glass windows, doors, storefronts, and skylights with precision and care
• Prepare work areas by measuring, cutting, and fabricating glass using hand tools and power tools in accordance with project specifications
• Collaborate with managers to ensure smooth workflow
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly handling tools and disposing of debris
• Conduct routine vehicle top ups and inspections to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance needs promptly
• Assist in fabrication tasks such as cutting or shaping glass to frames as needed for custom installations
• Taking accurate sizes for orders
• Entering detail into mobile job management system

Experience

• Proven experience in glazing installation or trades
• Familiarity with using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and safety equipment
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to glazing and construction

Pay: £18.50-£27.75 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
