Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Glazier/Installer and become a vital part of transforming spaces with precision and craftsmanship! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining glass and related fixtures across various construction and remodeling projects. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life, ensuring safety, quality, and aesthetic appeal. We’re looking for motivated individuals who thrive in hands-on environments and are eager to contribute to high-quality construction outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, fabricate, and install glass panels, windows, doors, and custom fixtures with accuracy using hand tools and power tools.
- Interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation aligned with project specifications.
- Handle glass materials safely during transportation, storage, and installation to prevent damage or injury.
- Apply caulking, sealing, and finishing techniques such as construction painting to achieve professional-quality results.
- Conduct quality control measurements to verify dimensions and fitment of installed glass and fixtures; make adjustments as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects, fabrication tasks, fixture installation, cabinetry setup, and other construction site activities.
Preferred Skills: But Not Necessary
- Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, glass materials handling, window installation, and general construction site work.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools (e.g., saws, drills), power tools (e.g., grinders), and fabrication equipment for precise craftsmanship.
- Strong understanding of measurement techniques for quality control and dimensional accuracy.
- Knowledge of schematics, technical drawings, and interpreting construction plans for accurate implementation.
- Ability to lift heavy materials safely and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
- Construction experience including drywall installation, metal stud framing, fixture setup, remodeling projects, and handyman skills is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members on-site; a proactive approach to safety protocols is essential.
Embark on a career where your skills build more than structures — they build communities! We’re committed to fostering a vibrant work environment that values your growth while delivering exceptional results on every project.
