Glaziers

A well-established commercial glazing contractor is looking for Glaziers to join its growing glass and storefront division. The company works across a range of commercial glazing projects, including aluminum storefront, curtain wall and window wall systems.

They are open to Glaziers at different levels of experience, from developing tradespeople through to highly experienced installers who can work independently and take ownership of more complex installations.

Responsibilities:

• Install commercial glass and glazing systems on active construction projects
• Install aluminum storefront, curtain wall and window wall systems
• Read and work from architectural drawings and installation details
• Measure, cut, fit and install glass and aluminum components
• Complete installation work safely, accurately and efficiently
• Work with Field Superintendents, Project Managers and other trades
• Identify and resolve installation issues in the field
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Follow project specifications, safety requirements and company procedures
• Assist with loading, unloading and preparation of materials as required

Requirements:

• Commercial glazing experience preferred
• Experience with storefront, curtain wall or window wall highly valued
• Ability to read architectural drawings and construction details
• Strong understanding of glass and aluminum installation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a field team
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to project sites
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Non-union commercial experience preferred
