Glazing Administrator / Estimator

Based in sunny Nelson, we are a family owned and run, professional glazing services company. We have a reputation for high quality workmanship and excellent customer service. We have an opportunity for an Admin Superstar to join our Administration team. 

This role is a full time permanent position, with the option to work from home at times. This is a busy, varied role in a small supportive team, requiring a highly capable and adaptable administrator with a warm, bubbly personality.

The main task of this role is Quoting/Estimating a wide range of glazing jobs and providing exceptional customer service. The role also involves scheduling, ordering, checking supplier invoices, liaising with suppliers and team members to ensure smooth workflow, marketing, process administration, and general office administration.

Full training will be provided for the Glazing Estimating part of the role, so experience in the glass industry or quoting jobs, is not essential, but would be an advantage. 

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

• #1: Be very detail focused, excellent with numbers, and committed to 100% accuracy with quotes
• Be a great communicator, with excellent grammar, written and verbal communication skills
• Have outstanding customer service skills
• Love helping people, and get a buzz out of winning their work
• Be friendly and warm, with a bubbly, outgoing personality
• Enjoy working in a small team
• Show initiative to do whatever needs to be done
• Be highly efficient, adaptable, and good at prioritising multiple tasks
• Have good mathematical ability and business sense
• Be confident and capable using computers and a wide range of software, including Gmail, Word, Excel, Calendar, One Note etc
• Be a fast and keen learner
• Be self-motivated and happy to work independently
• Have a positive attitude and good work ethic
• Experience using Smart Toolbox would be an advantage
