Learn how to measure and cut glass, install aluminium frames, smooth and polish edges and install glass and windows

The Role:

Location: Metro Adelaide SA
Duration: 48-month Apprenticeship

As a Glazier Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced professionals to install and repair glass in residential and commercial settings. This hands-on role will help you develop essential skills in glazing, fabrication, and installation.

Under the guidance of experienced mentors, your responsibilities will include:

• Measure and cut glass
• Install aluminium frames
• Smooth and polish edges
• Fabricate and install glass and windows
• Perform glass repairs and replacement

About You:

To be successful in this Apprenticeship, you will need:

• Strong problem-solving skills
• A reliable work ethic
• An eye for detail
• Ability to follow instructions and take initiative
• Have a good attitude and willingness to learn

Role Requirements:

• Driver's licence and reliable vehicle
• Good physical fitness to perform manual tasks
• Be willing to complete a pre-employment assessment including a drug and alcohol screen
• Previous construction experience or pre-vocational certificate (desirable)
