GLAZING ESTIMATOR

Job Summary

As a Glazing Estimator, you’ll turn construction plans into clear, accurate project estimates. You’ll review drawings, determine glazing material requirements, develop pricing, and coordinate with clients and project teams to support well-planned commercial construction work. Your construction estimating experience and attention to detail will help keep budgets and project scopes aligned.

Duties

• Review blueprints and construction drawings to identify glazing scope, specifications, quantities, and material requirements.
• Prepare estimates, project budgets, pricing, and cost-control information using estimating software; Bluebeam and HeavyBid experience are useful.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and project teams to clarify scope, communicate assumptions, and support negotiations.
• Track estimate details and project costs using spreadsheets, Microsoft Office, and construction management software.
• Your impact: Accurate estimates help clients make informed decisions and give project teams a reliable basis for planning materials and costs.

Experience

• Construction estimating experience, including estimating material costs and commercial construction projects; experience managing projects as a construction estimator is valuable.
• Construction industry experience, with construction site experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, review construction drawings, and interpret technical drawings.
• Familiarity with estimating software, cost management, cost control, pricing, and project management.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
