Lead the next phase of growth in an international industrial business

Experienced commercial and operational leader to take responsibility for a significant international business. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution across commercial development, product strategy, operations and organisational performance.

In this role you will lead an international, cross-functional business with responsibility for its strategic direction, financial results and long-term market development. Working with senior group leadership and colleagues across multiple geographies, you will build growth, improve performance and strengthen customer relationships.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Set and implement the business strategy for an international product portfolio
• Lead commercial and operational performance, including revenue, profitability, investment priorities and working capital
• Develop strategic customer and partner relationships with OEMs and channel partners in mobile equipment, transport, industrial machinery and related professional markets.
• Guide product management, engineering and innovation activities in response to market developments
• Improve product quality, delivery performance, competitiveness and speed to market
• Lead operational-improvement initiatives across the value chain
• Build and develop an effective international leadership team
• Work successfully across functions, regions and cultures within a matrix environment

Our client is seeking a commercially strong and entrepreneurial international leader, able to combine strategic thinking with practical execution. You are comfortable in a complex environment and create focus, pace and ownership across an organisation.

You bring:

• Senior general management experience with full P&L responsibility
• Experience in an international engineered-products, components or technical-systems business serving OEM and professional markets is essential.
• A record of improving growth, profitability and organisational effectiveness
• Deep understanding of OEM-sales key account management and long-term customer partnerships
• Experience in product portfolio management, R&D cooperation and innovation-led growth
• The ability to lead international and cross-functional teams
• Professional fluency in English and preferably Dutch
• Willingness to travel internationally
