What they need

Company Description With a history that dates back over 80 years, Starcom is a global communications planning and media leader. We are an agency still grounded in our founding principle that people are at the centre of all we do. Each day, we apply this belief to harness the transformative power of data and technology to inspire and move people and business forward. With more than 7,000 employees in over 100 offices around the world, we are the flagship Publicis Media agency that uses our ‘Power of One’ business model, with teams that span multiple disciplines across clients such as Aldi, P&G, Primark, Samsung, Stellantis, and Visa.

We place a huge focus on our People, and have driven flagship D&I and L&D programmes within Publicis Media; our goal is to help every individual reach their fullest potential, and we encourage everyone to make “Brave Plays” in how they approach their work and their own career development. As a result, we have an exceptionally energised and committed talent base, all of us proud of our welcoming and supportive culture, as evidenced by our recognition as one of Campaign’s Best Places to Work for five years in a row, Media Week's Agency of the Year 2025 and one of the Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2025. Overview What will you be doing? The Global Client Partner will take a pivotal leadership role at the heart of one of the agency’s most high-profile, integrated client partnerships. You will own the senior client relationships, play a central role across the account and work with a cross-functional team to define, develop and execute new processes and procedures aimed at driving growth for the clients’ business and maintain healthy financials internally

You will be responsible for shaping and stewarding a long-term growth strategy for the client, working in close collaboration with senior client stakeholders and internal agency leaders to elevate media as a core driver of business performance. You’ll ensure every strand of the agency’s output ladders up to a shared strategic ambition.

Internally, you will be the anchor point for a large cross-functional team — bringing together planners, buyers, strategists, data specialists and operations teams under a single vision. You will mentor senior talent, manage resource and revenue, and ensure seamless delivery across markets and channels. This is both a highly visible and hands-on leadership role, requiring both boardroom presence and delivery rigor.

Responsibilities Client Leadership

  • Serve as the strategic lead for the Mars Pet partnership, representing the agency at the highest levels
  • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, grounded in transparency and shared business goals
  • Lead annual planning and quarterly reviews, ensuring alignment across all media workstreams
  • Act as a strategic advisor on media innovation, audience strategy, brand architecture, and growth planning

Strategic & Media Oversight

  • Oversee development and delivery of integrated media strategies across biddable and non-biddable channels
  • Champion data-led planning, measurement frameworks, and learning agendas
  • Ensure regional nuance while maintaining global brand consistency
  • Drive innovation and thought leadership across PESO (Paid, Earned, Shared, Owned) channels

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing, cross-functional team across planning, strategy, investment, and analytics
  • Foster a culture of accountability, curiosity, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure clarity of roles, career progression, and talent development across senior levels
  • Promote strong collaboration across Publicis Groupe capabilities and partner agencies

Financial & Operational Excellence

  • Own and monitor P&L fluctuations to proactively identify risks and opportunities.
  • Align resource planning and agency capabilities with evolving business priorities
  • Identify and drive growth opportunities through upselling, innovation, and added-value initiatives
  • Embed process excellence and delivery rigor across all markets and channels

Agency Leadership & Innovation

  • Contribute to agency leadership priorities including product development, culture, and new business
  • Represent the agency in industry forums and thought leadership platforms
  • Support pitch strategy and business development efforts as needed

Qualifications What are we looking for?

  • Extensive experience in senior media leadership roles, with experience managing complex accounts and leading integrated media strategies
  • Strong commercial acumen with P&L ownership, forecasting, and revenue growth experience
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to translate data into actionable business solutions
  • Skilled in leading cross-functional teams and navigating C-suite environments
  • Experience in FMCG preferred but not required
