Tencent Global Communications Intern

Duration Requirement: Full-time internship for at least 3 months

Location: Shenzhen Qianhai

We are seeking a highly motivated intern to join our Global Communications team in Shenzhen. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, cross-cultural environment and contribute to impactful communications projects. You’ll collaborate with a talented, international team and gain hands-on experience across multimedia, research, and content creation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in international communications for Tencent’s Weixin/WeChat and FinTech businesses, including public sentiment monitoring and analysis, Chinese/English copywriting, project workflow management, vendor coordination, participation in international exhibitions, and other tasks assigned by supervisors.
• Conduct desktop research to support communication strategies and content development.
• Assist in drafting bilingual materials and internal/external communications.
• Help coordinate projects and ensure timely delivery of tasks.

Requirements:

• Strong news sensitivity with a keen understanding of media landscapes and familiarity with overseas social media platforms and their policies;
• Ability to independently plan and write articles, with solid writing skills and excellent Chinese/English proficiency;
• Proficient in leveraging AI tools with a social media mindset and design capabilities (video production, poster/brochure design experience preferred);
• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal communication, stress resilience, and requirements analysis skills. Prior experience in project development and coordination is a plus.
