Global Compliance Manager

Located at Woodlands

Working hours: 8.30am to 6pm

Key Responsibilities

• Research import/export, customs and regulatory requirements for life sciences and healthcare shipments across APAC, Americas and EMEA.
• Advise internal teams on shipping documentation, permits, licences, HS codes, restrictions and compliance risks.
• Support and troubleshoot international shipments, including customs clearance and documentation issues.
• Monitor regulatory changes and maintain SOPs, compliance guidelines and country-specific requirements.
• Work with internal teams, freight forwarders and external partners to ensure compliant and timely shipments.
• Support compliance reviews, risk assessments and proper documentation for audit purposes

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Life Sciences, International Trade, Business or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in logistics, freight forwarding, trade compliance or supply chain operations.
• Experience within life sciences, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, healthcare or clinical trials is highly preferred.
• Good knowledge of international shipping, customs documentation, import/export regulations and cross-border logistics.
• Experience with regulated shipments such as medical devices, clinical trial materials, temperature-sensitive products or healthcare goods is advantageous.
• Knowledge of HS codes, product classification, permits, licences and customs clearance processes is preferred.
• Strong regulatory research, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate requirements into practical operational guidance.
• Good communication, documentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work independently and collaborate with regional/global teams and external logistics partners.
• Detail-oriented, organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
