Global Director (EMS/Electronics)

Key Responsibilities

Quality Leadership – 50%

Define and drive the global quality strategy across multiple manufacturing sites.

Lead Manufacturing Quality, Customer Quality, Supplier Quality, and Quality Systems.

Drive customer satisfaction, quality improvement, yield enhancement, and reduction of Cost of Poor Quality.

Lead major customer escalations, audits, CAPA, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Drive quality transformation through Lean, Six Sigma, digitalization, and AI.

Business & P&L Leadership – 50%

Own and drive P&L and financial performance, including cost, productivity, and profitability.

Partner with Operations, Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance to achieve business targets.

Manage key customer relationships and support commercial discussions and business growth.

Identify opportunities to improve margins, operational efficiency, and overall business performance.

Lead and develop global teams while building a strong culture of quality, accountability, and commercial ownership.

Requirements

Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related discipline.

15+ years of experience in EMS, electronics, contract manufacturing, or high-volume manufacturing.

Proven leadership experience across global Quality and business / P&L functions.

Strong understanding of manufacturing quality, operational excellence, financial management, and customer management.

Demonstrated ability to drive both quality improvement and profitable business growth.

Strong strategic, commercial, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
