What they need
Established in 1996 in Melbourne, Bardot was born from a love of modern femininity, creating pieces that help women feel confident, powerful and ready for any occasion. What started as a local bricks-and-mortar label has evolved into a truly global fashion brand, with a strong digital and wholesale footprint across Australia, New Zealand, the USA and Europe.
Bardot Junior, launched in 2004, brings the same spirit of style and celebration to little wardrobes. Offering playful, special-occasion and dressed-up casual pieces across apparel, accessories and gifting for babies through to tweens.
Bardot is worn worldwide and stocked through leading retail partners including Nordstrom, Macy’s and REVOLVE, alongside Bardot’s owned channels, bringing trend-led design and elevated wardrobe staples to an international audience.
About The Role Bardot is looking for a commercially minded Global Ecommerce Manager to lead the front-end ecommerce experience across our digital channels, making sure every site is commercially optimised, customer-led and running smoothly. Working closely with the Head of Digital & Ecommerce, you’ll own trade and promotional execution, site merchandising, CRM alignment, platform improvements and marketplace support, while leading and developing a small ecommerce team.
This is a role for someone who loves the technical and the commercial side of ecommerce in equal measure: you know the platform inside out, you’re excited by how technology and AI can lift performance, and you never lose sight of the customer.
Key Focus
- Own the front-end customer experience across Bardot’s ecommerce websites, from homepage updates and campaign launches to promotions, merchandising and key trade changes.
- Manage Salesforce Commerce Cloud Business Manager, troubleshoot platform issues, and lead new features and enhancements with external partners.
- Partner with the Head of Digital & Ecommerce and the Ecommerce Trade team to deliver the trade calendar and all promotional and campaign activity.
- Set and implement merchandising strategies, using trading data, customer behaviour and site metrics to lift conversion and product performance.
- Lead A/B testing and optimisation across the site, using tools such as Einstein and Hotjar.
- Oversee the customer journey beyond the website, including CRM, EDM activity and loyalty initiatives such as Yotpo.
- Help shape marketplace strategy across The Iconic, Amazon and upcoming channel launches.
- Find ways technology and AI can help the team work more efficiently, produce stronger outcomes, and improve site metrics and customer experience.
- Lead, mentor and develop the ecommerce team, and act as a senior point of contact across digital, creative, customer service and trade.
- Keep day-to-day ecommerce operations running smoothly, with thorough testing, clear processes and quick resolution of escalations.
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years’ experience in ecommerce management, ideally within fashion or retail, including leading a team.
- Proven experience driving digital, AI or business transformation.
- Hands-on Salesforce Commerce Cloud experience, plus cross-platform experience including email marketing platforms and managing customer databases and segments.
- Strong technical understanding of ecommerce, from backend configuration to the frontend customer experience, including intermediate HTML and a solid grasp of how data and integrations work.
- Strong commercial judgement and customer focus, with the ability to turn data into decisions that drive results.
- A confident problem-solver and negotiator who manages their own priorities well at pace.
Why join Bardot:
- Work with a global women’s fashion brand with strong momentum and vision.
- Be part of a supportive, collaborative team that values creativity and growth.
- 50% product allowance.
- Flexible working: 4 days in office, 1 day WFH.
If you’re a commercially minded ecommerce leader with a love of fashion and digital, we’d love to hear from you.
