Global Engagement Lead

What will you do on your journey with WebBeds?

As Global Engagement Lead for Operations, you will shape and deliver engaging global content and activities that connect Operations colleagues across locations and bring agreed engagement themes to life. Working with leaders, stakeholders and a network of local Engagement Champions, you will create consistent, inclusive and relevant experiences that strengthen connection, participation and pride across the global Operations community.

This is a hands-on and highly creative role. You will develop communications and engagement materials, coordinate local delivery, manage the engagement budget and play an active part in on-site activities in Manila. Success will require excellent communication, strong organisation and the energy to turn ideas into practical activities that colleagues want to take part in.

How you will make an impact…

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop and own the global Operations engagement plan end to end by translating agreed themes and priorities into a clear calendar of content, campaigns and activities.
• Create compelling engagement content that is relevant, accessible and adaptable for Operations colleagues across different countries, cultures and working environments.
• Lead communications design and delivery by producing clear, engaging written and visual materials for campaigns, events, updates and colleague initiatives.
• Build, support and develop a global network of Engagement Champions by establishing regular communication, sharing toolkits and guidance, and enabling champions to deliver activities effectively in each location.
• Coordinate consistent local delivery by working with Engagement Champions and site stakeholders to adapt global themes while maintaining a cohesive colleague experience.
• Manage the global engagement budget ensuring that all costs are accurately tracked, monitored and aligned to the overall global engagement plan
• Support with the creation of materials for internal communications
• Deliver engagement activities on site in Manila by taking an active, visible and hands-on role in planning, coordinating and facilitating local initiatives.
• Measure engagement effectiveness by gathering participation data and colleague feedback, identifying lessons learned and recommending improvements to future activity.
• Create a feedback loop with Engagement Champions to identify recurring themes, colleague experience gaps and priority action areas, into actionable recommendations for engagement planning.
• Partner with key stakeholders across Operations, Talent and Culture, Internal Communications and other relevant teams to align plans, messages and delivery.
• Champion inclusion and continuous improvement by ensuring activities consider the needs of a diverse global workforce and by bringing forward new, creative ideas that increase participation and connection.

The skills we would love to see in your suitcase.

• Experience in employee engagement, internal communications, culture, events, people programmes or a related field.
• Demonstrable experience creating and delivering communications, campaigns or engagement content for varied audiences.
• Excellent written and spoken English language skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, creatively and appropriately across different channels.
• A creative mindset and genuine passion for building colleague engagement and connection.
• Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work with colleagues and leaders across locations and cultures.
• Excellent planning, organisation and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities and deadlines.
• Experience managing or monitoring budgets, expenditure and supplier costs.
• Ability to turn broad themes and ideas into practical, engaging and well-executed activities.
• Comfortable facilitating activities, presenting information and being visibly involved in on-site engagement events.
• A collaborative and inclusive approach, with the ability to motivate and support a network of Engagement Champions.
• Strong attention to detail while retaining a clear view of global objectives and the overall colleague experience.
• Adaptable, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing global environment.
• Experience working within a global or multi-site organisation is desirable.
• Experience in the travel, operations, contact centre or service environment is desirable.
