Global Inventory Analyst

Has the overall responsibility of executing product fulfillment, in-stock levels, and inventory management for defined vendors, including import and DSD SKUs, to support distribution center and store forecasting and replenishment, including promotional and event execution. Responsible for new item introductions and discontinuations, as well as promotional and event execution within an assigned group of vendors.

Job Responsibility

• Executes inventory management at distribution centers and stores for an assigned group of vendors; executes planogram resets including product introductions and exit strategies; manage seasonal, promotional, and event plans; meet service level, in-stock, and inventory turnover targets. (55%)
• Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) for assigned vendors and conduct analysis on vendor performance. (15%)
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams including Merchandising and Planning to ensure inventory levels align with merchandise policy and financial goals; produces reports to review and analyze item performance. (15%)
• Identifies issues and opportunities and develop appropriate action plans to support company financial goals. (15%)

Job Qualifications

• Ability to deliver expected quantitative and qualitative results.
• Strong business acumen and superior analytical skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and independently.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and database applications.

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, or a related field required, with a minimum of one year of experience in a retail or supply chain environment. Two to four years of relevant experience may be substituted. Aldata Oracle knowledge preferred.
