Global Messaging Architect

For our client, we are seeking a Global Messaging Architect to join the team of a leader in the Media space.

In this role, you will own the architecture and governance of global messaging services that support a complex, enterprise-scale environment. You will shape secure, reliable mail and calendaring standards across cloud collaboration platforms while partnering with security and engineering teams to improve resilience and operational performance. This position also plays a key role in integrations tied to organizational change, including mergers, acquisitions, and rebranding initiatives.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $135,000 – $180,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Define and manage global messaging architecture across Exchange Online and Microsoft 365.
• Develop governance models to ensure secure and scalable messaging services.
• Lead messaging strategies during mergers, acquisitions, and rebranding efforts.
• Architect global mail routing and security standards.
• Direct engineering teams for optimal mail and calendaring system performance.
• Collaborate with Global Security Operations for enhanced threat detection.
• Provide leadership for integration with various collaboration tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in identity and access management and enterprise infrastructure.
• Proven experience leading identity architecture for large-scale hybrid environments.
• Expert proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
• Hands-on experience with Okta Identity Cloud and Microsoft Active Directory.
