Global Project Billing Analyst

Job Summary

We are looking for a Global Project Billing Analyst to support consultants in the end-to-end billing process and ensure accurate revenue recognition for clients across North America, EMEA, and APAC .

Key Responsibilities

• Support consultants with the end-to-end project billing process.
• Enter project accounting events from system sources such as Oracle OTL and Accounts Payable.
• Process billing and revenue adjustments, including write-ups, write-downs, gains, and losses.
• Review and analyze Work-in-Progress (WIP), amounts to be invoiced, and carry-forward balances.
• Ensure revenue is accurately recognized in the correct accounting period, project location, and practice.
• Generate and process draft and final invoices with complete supporting documentation.
• Respond to and resolve billing inquiries and client billing issues.
• Escalate complex or unresolved billing concerns to the Supervisor.
• Ensure work is completed within Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and required targets.
• Support process improvements and maintain compliance with billing and accounting procedures.
• Work closely with other teams to ensure smooth and accurate billing operations.
• Perform other billing and accounting-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in Billing.
• Experience with Oracle or another ERP platform , particularly Project Accounting.
• Experience in Accounts Receivable .
• Understanding of basic accounting processes.
• Experience in a shared services or internal service delivery environment is an advantage.
• Strong ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
• Good data entry skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to resolve billing exceptions and disputes.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage priorities.
• Strong MS Excel skills; proficiency in MS Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Adaptable and willing to learn new processes and systems.
• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
