What they need

About Us

At Alliance Group, we're more than a global supplier of exceptional grass-fed lamb, beef, and venison. We're a purpose-driven business committed to driving prosperity for our farming families and creating thriving environments for our people. With sites across the North and South Islands, we're focused on performance improvement, innovation, and reducing our environmental impact.

The Role

We're looking for a Global Sales Coordinator to join our Global Sales team based in Invercargill.

Supporting the North American market, you'll play a key role in coordinating sales activity for one of Alliance's largest customer portfolios. Working across Sales, Planning, Supply Chain, and Production teams, you'll help ensure customer orders are delivered successfully, sales plans are achieved, and strong customer relationships are maintained.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong organisational skills, and is interested in developing a career within international sales and commercial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and implement daily, weekly, and annual sales plans for North American customers.
  • Support the successful execution of customer orders and shipment programmes.
  • Communicate sales activity and customer requirements with key internal stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Planning, Supply Chain, and Processing Sites to align production and sales requirements.
  • Assist in achieving sales budgets and customer commitments.
  • Monitor market conditions and support commercial decision-making.
  • Ensure customer claims are managed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Support inventory management and sales planning activities.
  • Build strong working relationships across the business to ensure successful outcomes for customers and Alliance.

About You

We're looking for someone who is proactive, organised, and enjoys working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.

You may come from a background in sales support, customer service, logistics, supply chain, operations, administration, or another coordination-based role. Most importantly, you'll bring a strong willingness to learn and a customer-focused mindset.

To be successful, you'll have:

  • Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with a range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to getting things right.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to ask questions and learn from others.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience working in a processing environment, such as boning rooms, chillers, freezers, dispatch, or container loading, would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • A tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, or a related field is advantageous but not essential. Candidates currently working towards a qualification are encouraged to apply.

What We Offer

  • Health insurance subsidies for you and your family
  • One week's additional annual leave
  • Ongoing support and training
  • Career development opportunities
