Gluer Operator – Printing & Packaging

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Gluer Operator to join our printing and packaging manufacturing team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient assembly and sealing of packaging products, contributing to the overall quality and productivity of our operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing environments, with a focus on packaging processes, and possess mechanical aptitude to operate and troubleshoot gluing machinery. Responsibilities

• Operate gluing machines to assemble and seal packaging products according to specifications and quality standards
• Monitor machine performance, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal operation
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote safety and efficiency
• Assist with loading and unloading materials using forklifts or manual handling techniques
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and maintain workflow continuity
• Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Qualifications

• Prior experience in manufacturing, packaging, or warehouse environments is preferred
• Mechanical knowledge or experience with machining equipment is a plus
• Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is desirable
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform manual tasks as required

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
