GM, Product - Command

For our client, we are seeking a GM, Product - Command to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.

This leader will own the strategy and product direction for a software development-focused offering that serves enterprise customers. The role will shape the roadmap, guide business performance, and ensure the product delivers measurable value through strong adoption, retention, and customer trust. This is a highly cross-functional position with close partnership across product, engineering, and design to define the future of the platform.

The ideal candidate will bring both strategic product leadership and a deep understanding of developer workflows, enterprise scale, and AI-enabled experiences. Success in this role will require translating complex market and technical needs into a compelling product vision and clear market positioning.

Location: New York, NY - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $399,000 – $450,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Develop and articulate a clear strategy and roadmap for the product within the company's portfolio
• Oversee business plans and key operational metrics, including adoption and retention
• Build and lead a customer-focused, cross-functional team across product and engineering
• Improve product quality and developer trust through collaboration with engineering and design teams
• Define AI-driven workflows tailored for software development teams
• Establish clear market positioning and customer value propositions

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in a GM or equivalent leadership role, owning product strategy and business outcomes
• Strong background in software development workflows and enterprise product building
• Experience with product growth from early stages to enterprise scalability
• Demonstrated application of AI in enhancing customer workflows
• Expertise in leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex strategies for diverse audiences
