Job Summary

Monga Toyota is looking for an experienced and customer-focused General Manager – Service to lead our aftersales operations and ensure exceptional service quality, customer satisfaction, and workshop profitability. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in automobile dealership service operations, team leadership, workshop management, and customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall Service & Aftersales operations of the dealership.
• Drive workshop revenue, profitability, productivity, and overall operational performance.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual service targets and business objectives.
• Monitor workshop capacity, technician productivity, bay utilization, job flow, and turnaround time.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
• Monitor service appointments, vehicle inflow, repeat customers, paid services, and customer follow-ups.
• Lead, motivate, train, and develop the service team to improve performance and productivity.
• Ensure adherence to Toyota service standards, processes, quality guidelines, and dealership SOPs.
• Monitor warranty, insurance, body shop, parts, and allied aftersales operations.
• Work closely with Parts, Sales, CRM, Finance, and Body Shop teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Analyze service performance reports, customer feedback, productivity metrics, and profitability.
• Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
• Drive initiatives for customer retention, repeat service, referrals, and service campaigns.
• Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of workshop equipment and facilities.
• Monitor service quality and ensure vehicles are delivered within committed timelines.
• Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and company standards.

Candidate Profile

• 8–15+ years of experience in automobile dealership service operations.
• Previous experience as GM Service / Service Head / Senior Service Manager will be preferred.
• Experience with an authorized automotive dealership is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of workshop operations, service processes, warranty, customer handling, and aftersales business.
• Proven track record of achieving service targets and improving workshop performance.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and people-management skills.
• Customer-centric approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office, DMS/CRM, and service reporting systems.
