Are you an experienced transmission technician looking for a high-volume shop with consistent work and earning potential? Courtesy Chevrolet is seeking a skilled GM Transmission Technician to join our service team. We are looking for a motivated professional who takes pride in diagnosing and repairing complex transmission concerns while delivering quality workmanship and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and replace automatic and manual transmissions on GM vehicles.
• Perform advanced drivability and transmission diagnostics using manufacturer-specific tools and equipment.
• Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs according to GM standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and verify repairs.
• Accurately document diagnostic findings, repair procedures, and labor operations.
• Maintain productivity, efficiency, and quality standards. Keep work area clean and follow all safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Automotive or Transmission Technician required.
• GM dealership experience preferred.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to operate scan tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop machinery.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
