About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Go Developer TechLead to own the design and delivery of scalable distributed systems for a client in Germany. This is a hands-on lead role: you will drive architecture decisions, concurrency trade-offs, and technical roadmaps, while representing engineering to external stakeholders and mentoring senior engineers (Team Lead / Lead Engineer - it must be in your CV).

If you are a senior Go engineer who has already led teams, worked in FinTech or banking, and implemented AI solutions in production engineering environments — this role is for you.

If you're also indicate in your CV about scalable systems and AI integration, it will not be rejected by the system!

Location: Georgia, Albania, Serbia, Slovenia, Ukraine, EU, Hungary, Lithuania, Poland, or Armenia. This is a hard requirement.

What you'll do:

• Own scalable distributed-system design and concurrency trade-offs in Go
• Translate product goals into clear technical roadmaps
• Surface risks, constraints, and delivery blockers early
• Represent engineering to external stakeholders and push back on unrealistic requirements
• Lead code and design reviews, and mentor senior engineers
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and unblock technical delivery
• Work on complex integrations in a FinTech/banking context
• Implement and configure AI solutions within the engineering team

What we're looking for:

Must-Haves

• 5–6+ years of hands-on Go development
• 2+ years in a leadership role (Team Lead, Tech Lead, or Engineering Lead)
• Strong experience with distributed systems and Go concurrency
• FinTech or banking domain experience , including complex integrations
• AI implementation/configuration in an engineering team
• CS-related higher education
• Solid CI/CD experience
• English C1
• Readiness for client live coding

Nice-to-Have

• Insurance domain experience
