What they need

What is the role?

The Oxford Dictionary defines a Goldsmith as “someone who makes objects from gold.”

At Wongs, being a Goldsmith means much more than that. It means being part of a dedicated, skilled team committed to exceptional craftsmanship, attention to detail and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Established in Liverpool in 1979, Wongs has grown from a family-run jeweller into an award-winning independent brand, while remaining firmly rooted in the city we call home. Our workshop is at the heart of what we do, combining traditional jewellery-making skills with modern technology and techniques to create, repair and transform jewellery for our customers.

We are now looking for a talented Goldsmith to join our established Liverpool workshop and become part of the next chapter of the Wongs story.

Why Join Wongs?

At Wongs, we believe that great jewellery comes from great people. We invest in our team, our workshop and our craft, creating an environment where skilled individuals can develop, take pride in their work and produce jewellery to an exceptional standard.

Our workshop team plays a hugely important role in maintaining the reputation we have built over more than 45 years.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Goldsmith to join our Liverpool workshop.

Whether you are an experienced craftsperson or are earlier in your career and looking to develop your skills, we are interested in hearing from you. The role and salary will reflect your individual experience, technical ability and level of responsibility.

You will work alongside experienced and award-winning, NAJ-qualified Goldsmiths in a modern, clean and well-equipped workshop. You will be trusted to produce work to a high standard, while having the support of an experienced team around you.

Quality is at the heart of everything we do. From a simple repair to a complex bespoke piece, we expect care, precision and pride in every piece of jewellery that leaves our workshop.
